What this is
Two replacement chains for Milwaukee’s M12 FUEL HATCHET 6” pruning saw — the 2527-20 on its own or the 2527-21 kit. Milwaukee’s own chain is 49-16-2732. This pack is the same size: 6”, 3/8” low-profile pitch, .043” gauge, 28 drive links. Oregon also lists the same size for Remington’s 6” pole saws (RM0612P, Branch Wizard 111409-01). M12 or M18?
Milwaukee has two HATCHET pruning saws and they don’t share a chain. The M12 FUEL 2527-20 is 6” with 28 links — this chain. The M18 FUEL 3004-20 is 8” with 33 links; see our chain for the M18 FUEL HATCHET. Milwaukee doesn’t approve other bar lengths on the 2527-20.
Fitting it
The 2527-20 is tensioned with a side screw, turned with the adjustment tool supplied with the saw. Milwaukee’s manual asks for a low-kickback chain equivalent to the original. The saw ships with an Oregon-made bar and a full-house chain.
