What this is

Replacement chains, sold in 2- and 3-packs, in an 8” pole saw size shared by several brands: 3/8” low-profile pitch, .050” gauge, 33 drive links. Oregon sells this size as S33 (91PX033G); WEN’s own chain for the 4019 is Oregon 91P033X, and Sun Joe cross-references its SWJ-8CHAIN to 91PX033G.

8-inch chains are not all the same

Three 8” sizes are easy to confuse:

Count the drive links on your old chain and check the gauge stamped on the bar before ordering.

Fitting it

On the Sun Joe SWJ800E, tension is set by turning the chain tensioner screw with a flat-blade screwdriver. On the WEN 4019 it is a tension adjustment wheel; WEN’s manual says the chain should lift about 2 mm at the middle of the bar when set correctly.

Does it fit the Sun Joe SWJ803E?

No. The SWJ803E is a 10" pole saw. This chain fits the 8" Sun Joe models SWJ800E, SWJ801E, SWJ802E and SWJ806E.

How is this different from other 8-inch pole saw chains?

By gauge and link count. Ryobi's 18V 8" pole saws take a .043" chain with 33 links, and the Worx WG310 a .043" chain with 34 links. This one is .050" with 33 links — check both on your old chain.
