What this is
Replacement chains, sold in 2- and 3-packs, for Ryobi’s 18V ONE+ 8” pole saws and pruning chainsaws. Ryobi’s own chain for all of them is RY8C1. Every pack is cut to the same size: 8”, 3/8” low-profile pitch, .043” gauge, 33 drive links. The same size is the factory chain on Ryobi’s 8” PSBCW01 pruning saw (682172001), HART’s 20V 8” HGCS011 (682502001), Kobalt’s 24V KPS 1024 pole saw (Kobalt KPSC 124-03), the Worx WG349, SKIL’s PS4563B and Makita’s XCU05.
One chain for all of Ryobi’s 8-inch 18V saws
Ryobi has sold several 8” pole saws, and each comes as a bare tool (BTL) or as a kit with a battery. They all take RY8C1:

Check before you order
- Count 33 drive links on the old chain. Other 8” pole saws, including the Worx WG310 and Remington’s, take 34 (our 34-link chain). Ryobi’s smaller PCLCW01 saw is 6” with a 28-link chain.
- Makita owners: check the bar. The XCU05 comes with the 8” bar this chain fits. The XCU06 is the same saw with a 10” bar and a longer chain.
Fitting it
These Ryobi pole saws tension the chain with a wrench, not a tool-free knob. Ryobi includes a combination wrench with the P4360 for this.
