What this is
Four replacement chains for the Stihl GTA 26 battery garden pruner. Stihl’s manual lists one bar and chain for it: a 10 cm (4”) Light bar with 71 PM3 chain, 1/4” P pitch, 1.1 mm (.043”) gauge, 28 drive links. This pack is the same size. Oregon’s equivalent is 24AP028E. Stihl’s manual for the newer GTA 20 lists the same combination.
Small chain, dulls fast
A 4” chain has very few cutters, so it dulls quickly on dirty wood, which is why this comes as a 4-pack. Stihl’s 1/4” P is its own Picco size; match it by the 71 PM3 marking or the 28-link count.
Fitting it
The GTA 26 tensions with a wingnut: move the bar out until the drive links are still half visible under it and the chain pulls along easily with two fingers. Stihl recommends only the bar and chain combination in the manual, and Multioil Bio for lubrication.
