What this is
Replacement chains, sold in 2- and 3-packs, in the 12” size most cordless saw brands use: 3/8” low-profile pitch, .043” gauge, 45 drive links. The saws in the table above all take a chain of exactly this size.
Match the part number, not the brand
Each brand sells this size under its own part number:

Oregon’s equivalent is 90PX045G. If your old chain is one of these part numbers, this is the same size.
Check before you order
- Measure the bar, not the saw’s name. Black+Decker’s LCS1020 shares a manual with the LCS1240 but is a 10” saw with a shorter chain.
- Low-profile is part of the size. All of these saws use 3/8” low-profile chain. Standard 3/8” chain is a bigger chain and won’t fit, and neither will the .325” chain DeWalt sells for its DCCS674X2 top-handle saw, even though DeWalt shows it alongside the DCCS621.
- Count 45 drive links on your old chain.
Fitting it
The DeWalt DCCS620 and Craftsman CMCCS620 both tension the chain with tool-free knobs. DeWalt’s manual also says to use only low-kickback bar and chain on the DCCS620.
