What this is
Two replacement chains for DeWalt’s 20V MAX 8” saws: the DCPS620 pole saw and the DCCS623 pruning chainsaw. DeWalt’s own chain for both is DWO1DT608, which DeWalt describes as 3/8” low-profile with 34 drive links and Oregon lists as 90PX034G (.043” gauge). This pack is the same size.
33 or 34 links?
Milwaukee’s 8” HATCHET chain is also 3/8” low-profile and .043”, but it has 33 drive links. One link makes the difference between a chain that tensions properly and one that doesn’t. Count the drive links on your old chain: DeWalt’s is 34.
Same chain, different bars
The DCPS620 and DCCS623 take the same chain but different bars — DWZCSB8 for the pole saw, DWZCSB8P for the pruning saw. If you are replacing the bar too, order the one for your saw.
Fitting it
Neither saw has a tool-free knob. On the DCPS620 the tension screw is at the front of the saw; on the DCCS623 you loosen the bar lock nut first, then turn the tension screw. DeWalt’s DCPS620 manual calls for reduced-kickback chain.
