What this is
Two replacement chains for Poulan’s 14” electric chainsaws, the PLN1514 and PLN1415. The PLN1514 manual’s chain table lists 49 drive links, bar 966-051201, chain 966-051501, .050” gauge and 3/8” pitch, and Oregon lists its low-profile S49 chain for both saws. This pack is the same size.
49 links, not 52
Most 14” chains with this pitch and gauge have 52 drive links. The PLN1514 bar takes 49. Count the drive links on your old chain before ordering; a 52-link chain won’t tension on this bar.
Fitting it
Poulan’s manual requires a low-kickback replacement chain meeting ANSI B175.1, and says not to fit other bar or chain sizes to the PLN1514.
