Doesn't fit

DeWalt DCCS674 converted to 3/8" pitch (6-tooth sprocket 90585879) — DEWALT lists only 12" (DW01DT612 / DWZCSB12) and 16" (DW01DT616 / DWZCSB16) for the 3/8" configuration. There is no 14" 3/8" OEM combination. (source)

What this is

Two replacement chains for DeWalt’s 60V MAX 14” top-handle chainsaw, the DCCS674 (sold as the DCCS674B tool only and the DCCS674X2 kit). DeWalt fits it with a 14” .325” bar (DWZCSBX14) and chain DWO1DTX614: .325” low-profile pitch, .043” gauge, 59 drive links. This pack is the same size. Oregon lists its N59 SpeedCut Nano chain for the saw.

Not a 3/8” chain

DeWalt’s other cordless saws, such as the DCCS620, DCCS670 and DCCS690, use 3/8” low-profile chain. The DCCS674 doesn’t: its stock sprocket is a 7-tooth .325”. DeWalt does sell a 3/8” conversion (6-tooth sprocket 90585879), but only with 12” and 16” bars. If your old chain has 59 drive links, it is the .325” chain and this is the replacement.

Fitting it

The DCCS674 tensions with the scrench supplied with the saw. DeWalt ships it with a 5/32” file for the chain. Pitch must match the sprocket that’s installed, so if the saw has been converted, use the chain for that setup.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the 3/8" chain other DeWalt saws use?

No. The DCCS674 comes with a .325" low-profile bar and sprocket, unlike DeWalt's DCCS620, DCCS670 and DCCS690, which use 3/8" low-profile chain. The two pitches don't mix.

I converted my DCCS674 to 3/8" pitch. Does this fit?

No. DeWalt's 3/8" conversion uses a 6-tooth sprocket with a 12" or 16" bar and matching 3/8" chain. DeWalt lists no 14" 3/8" combination for this saw.

What about the 12" or 16" .325" bar?

Those need different chains: 51 drive links for the 12" (DWO1DTX612) and 64 for the 16" (DWO1DTX616). This chain is for the stock 14" bar.

DeWalt writes both DW01DTX614 and DWO1DTX614. Which is right?

Same part. DeWalt's bar and chain manual uses a zero, its product pages a letter O; search for DWO1DTX614.
